What: 24-hour marathon soccer match

Who: benefitting Shriners Hospital for Children and the Distracted Driving Initiative and the Klein Collins men’s soccer program

When: 5 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012

Where: Klein Collins High School

Format: 24, 1-hour games between 2 different teams each hour with a continuous score for the whole 24 hours

Teams:  There will be 2 teams – a white team and a navy team – that are made up of 24 1-hour teams. Each 1-hour teams is made up of up to 15 players and can be co-ed. The 1-hour teams will play for an assigned time slot and have unlimited subs.

Costs: entrance fee is $150 per 1-hour team ($10 per person of the 15 member team)

Deadline: all teams need to submit their team forms and payment by December 16, 2011

Packets must include the following:

·        Team registration form

·        Payment of entrance fee

·        Waivers signed by all participating players

Once all teams are registered, a schedule of events will be posted online and sent by e-mail to team captains.
